Where to buy slender Meter-Mains ??

I hope this is in the right forum. I'm tired of putting those huge meter-mains on the side of houses. Seems like I've seen a slender version somewhere. About as wide as a regular meter base & a little longer, top to bottom. Just one breaker is fine. Anyone know who might make these & the price???

Yup, and having been down that road when the thing failed the POCO inspection, the Sparky in Portland should be thankful for the heads up.

I got some pretty gravy work changing meter bases on a bunch of new traffic signals because they weren't a POCO approved meter base. Stainless steel, and whole nine yards. Big money screw-up on somebody's part.

WE use Square D's QC816F200C combination meter box and service entrance panel. It's size is approx 14-1/2" wide by 35-1/2" high.

Its old neighborhoods, always overhead service. Mostly people 200A.
Power company provides a service requirement handbook, I'll have a good look. Thanks for the heads up...

The smallest one that I've seen is made by GE. 200A meter main with space for 4 extra breakers.
