Where would you bond?

I have a 480 X 240/120 single phase 5KVA XFMR. This is all outside. Next to the XFMR is a small 120/240 panel. I bonded in the XFMR and then ran 2 hots,1 neutral,1 ground to the panel and removed the bonding screw. Another JW wanted to bond at the panel using the bonding screw. My thought was the earlier the better. What would you do?

I would do as you did, bond the SDS at X0, and remove the panel bonding jumper.

I always bond in the panel for no other reason than that is the way I was taught.

That said I don't think it makes a darn bit of difference and is much like 'ground up or ground down'
