When can you switch over from the 60 degree column to the 75 degree column? 110.14(C) mentions 1 AWG, but just want to make sure.

To be clear, 110.14(C) lists "larger" than 1AWG (or >100A) as the break point unless the listing or marking of the equipment specifically states the temperature rating. So 1AWG still falls under the 60 degree column in the default/unknown installation.

You can use the 75° C column even for small conductors like #12 THHN if the terminals on each end are rated for 75° C.
