Whirlpool tub above load center.

I've got a new build that will have a whirlpool tub on the first floor sitting directly above the load center in the basement.

The plumbing will not be located as to violate any electrical code requirements with the panel, but just the thought of the tub sitting directly above seems like a poor design.

Would anyone here even bring it up to the general contractor or should it be a non issue?

There is literally no other location for the panel since a room has been planned for its placement and the rest of that end of the basement is finished space.

Opinions welcome.

Since the panel is on a different floor according to the NEC it's in a code complaint location. IMO=non-issue.

If water is getting into the floor below, they have larger issues than an NEC violation.

I'd say every panel is, technically, below a 'wet location'. Every.... single.... one.
