Does anyone know the requirements of electric baseboard heat next to whirlpool tub? please no code refrences i don't have my book where i'm at.

First we can't call it a wirlpool,it is called a hydromassage bathtub and article 680 applies.Would think there is some limitations to at least 5 foot

680.72 defers one back to Chapters 1-4, Article 424.12(B) Damp or Wet locations. Does not restrict installation by any measurements.
I do not see any additional restrictions in Article 422 or Article 210.
I could see this unit being installed by the "whirlpool" and not being a violation...I certainly would be uncomfortable with the installation, but as I read it,it is permissable.

Thank you guys for your replys. I dont exactly want to put them next to the tub but there is really nowhere else for it to go. based on the bathroom layout.
