While working for a previous employer we always used this "clip-on" type of Intersystem bonding termination for exterior mounted meter sockets.
It was convenient and simple.
Since then I've tried to figure out who makes it and where to get it. I've described it to the supply house and they don't know what I'm talking about. I've googled it with no success.
I saw this pic in another thread and thought "There it is!".
It's kinda hard to see and make out in the pic. It's on the upper right corner of the meter socket enclosure. It just "clips" onto the lip of the top overlap of the enclosure lip and has 3 lugs to be code compliant.

TIA!

Close!

Close!

That's got to be the same manufacturer.
The one I'm referring to uses the same "clip-on" principle but instead of one lug it has a 3-slot lug to meet the 250.94 code requirement for Intersystem termination.o

Manufacturer name?

Manufacturer name?

Now if I can just figure out who makes it...

At least I now have a pic to show the supply house.

Personally, I would never use a system like that. It may be good in a situation where you can't get into the meter or panel but I can imagine the ugliness when all those other wires are run way up to the top of the meter. I prefer them to be installed down low where the cable and phone demarcation is installed.

Those are really made for cable and telco companies. There was always a triangular shaped one made from SS that would clamp on the top corner. It was available from CATV installation hardware suppliers. This looks like just somebody else's version of it. Many cable companies require their installers to ground to the meter pan or service conduit only.

Now if only they made a ground clamp for PVC...

Came back to a new house I wired a few years ago, satellite installer clamped similar device to panel cover:happysad:

As you can see I did have an intersystem bonding terminal below the panel - with nothing attached to it other then it is tapped onto the GEC running to the CEE.

That's the problem with those bonding terminals. Installers aren't bright enough to know what they are (especially with that cover on it, I would throw it away) or they only follow what their company tells them to do.

That's going to be a PITA every time the panel cover has to be removed.

So true. Most CATV / satellite / interwebs installers are staggeringly poorly trained. Just enough training to get the install to function... most times. No quality of workmanship at all.

I put a bonding bridge on and either the phone guy or satellite guy, can't remember which, was there and I told him what it was. I went to lunch and came back to find they had split bolted to the GEC and totally ignored the bonding bridge!:)
