Not sure if this is the right forum, but who makes UL listed ATS contactors? Other than ASCO. Not the whole ATS, and no brains, just the contactor portion.

Look at lselectricamerica.com and Sprecher and Schuh. LS is a spinoff of the South Korean company LG. Contactors made in Korea or Spain. S&S was bought out by Rockwell and the Bulletin 300 has replaced the Bulletin 500s, made in Poland.

It doesn’t matter what the application is. Both of these guys make private labeled contactors for dozens of companies.

I doubt that anyone actually has a listed contactor for that purpose...maybe a "recognized" one, but don't see how you could have a listed one.

Most ATS manufacturers we see build their own contactor assembly (Power Panel, PP) and we work on them all: ABB (Zenith), ASCO, Onan, Cummins, Kohler, Russelectric, Generac, Eaton, Westinghouse, GE Zenith, etc.
Except for some cases where above a curtain rating (usually 1200A) they use another manufacturers part. Like in the case of the attached pic. It is a 2000A Cummins ATS with a ABB (Zenith) PP. Cummins also uses ASCO P Panels above a certain amp rating. Kohler and Cummins have the license to private label ABB ATS's to sell as their own.
Also attached is an ABB ATS nameplate with the UL label listing the complete unit. As others have mentioned, I think you would be hard pressed to find a PP with its own label.

Thanks. I found that Socomec makes a nice motor operated one, but I have a feeling the cost is too high.

I have seen some lower end ATS use a pair of mechanically interlocked IEC contactors but those need to be continuously energized.

I'll keep digging, somewhere there will be a supplier of what I am looking for....

And that is?

Too bad it’s not single phase, I have built my own controller using Generacs dumb automatic switches. Those are (were) cheaper than manual 200 amp switches.

It is single phase but switching the neutral. Deepsea makes a nice ATS controller that matches the deepsea generator controllers.
