Yeah, that's pretty much the question.
I agree. My company has a deal directly with appleton, so we a forced to use them exclusively. I always love when the supply house screws up and substitutes a different brand. I have found that appletons fittings have a pretty sharp throat too. I always order fittings with the internal plastic bushings just for that reason. Also, the compression style fitting don't tighten all the way eitherOriginally posted by macmikeman:

I much prefer OZ for those applications. The light zinc plating on the Appleton only lasts a year or two in industrial applications. The OZ fittings have a hot dipped galvanizing and hold up much better. Note, that Appleton and OZ are owned by the same company.RGC, sealtite and other industrial-like stuff: Appleton
