I think it could be if you live in a non-lightning area like northern Wisconsin, but it is probably too low if you live in the Tampa FL area.
For wired neutrals Schneider probably expects you to use their hard wired versions.

I think you will be better off with any spd than none. But I also think it does not make all that much difference.

The plug-in type is easier to install but it's seems that their rating is rather low when compared to externally mounted devices. I like the Eaton Ultra at 108 ka. Whether or not that level of protection is necessary is arguable. For about $150 it seems like cheap insurance even if it's a bit of overkill.

On a related note, I've seen over-voltage protection feature in Eaton cut sheet before, but they're not common. Since whole house surge protectors wire into neutral anyways, I wish there was more choice available for lost neutral protection that works similar to ground fault relay if it sees say more than 20v rise on one pole concurrent with voltage drop on the other.
