i installed that cat5 a few months ago too. it was supposed to be 4" to the left, but when they installed insulation in the walls, this one was pulled over to here. i thought i had them pretty secure.

I accidentally ran a bunch of staples through Cat 5 in my house when I was wiring up a network for our computers, and they still work fine. The problem was I didn't have one of those neat specialty low voltage cable staplers with the U-shaped staples. I had a regular ol' Swingline. Hard to aim.
