Customer called that the breaker was tripping on a dining and kitchen area light circuit. Fearing incompatibility with the arc fault breaker and the LEDs on a dimmer in the kitchen, I was prepared to put in a regular breaker to test. When I get there, I had him describe what was happening. He said it happened without the LEDs being on, just that they would be sitting in the dining area with the chandelier on and suddenly for no reason the breaker would trip. I subconsciously reached up to take out one of the bulbs as I couldn't remember , maybe they were LED too. Instead the first incandescent bulb I touched was loose as a goose. Turned out that was the problem all along. Made sense, since the bulbs were installed by others.
Never prejudge a call! lol

Nah, it was a whole house job I did in the spring for a fed funded rehab company. The customer bought the place without me ever meeting him. But I did end up getting the underground to the garage, at TV in the kitchen, and some more basement lighting out of it so...Sometimes a little nice nice works in your favor.

Yea I sometimes to the same for good will. I look at it this way if they treat me nice then I'll do the same and sometimes go out of my way for them.
Kind of the pay it forward thing.
