Because some of us (myself, included) aren't too bright.

I've brought this up many times but have since decided it was a losing battle to continually point this out. Some of us can't spell so we use spell check. I don't know what we should do about those who can't read.

With my overly nitpicky Forum-OCD, I tend to knock the lighting questions out into the NEC forum, but I was feeling proud for not doing it for a while.

What's in a name? ;)

Answer 1: Mime?

Answer 2: They don't need to know.

Answer 3: For English, press 2.

Don't forget the blind electricians either.

I noticed there's plenty of Lighting questions here as well.

Maybe we can rename the forum to:
Flashes of Light Seen in the Sky when there is a Discharge of Atmospheric Electricity in the Clouds or Between Clouds and the Ground, Usually Occurring During a Thunderstorm and Power Quality.

Naaaaaaaaaa.........

I read "Lighting" as well. It's that thing where your brain ignores the letters in the middle again... Sure enough, it says "Lightning"...
