why post lamp stopped working

this is one splice i found and there was atleast 1 more that i didnt bother finding... just piped and pulled new.

When I first started in the field, my supervisor told me to use a glass Gatorade bottle for an underground splice for a lamp post. Just make sure I buried the bottle upside-down.

So are you saying it's working now or need to help with more troubeshoot?:huh::thumbsup:
 
When I get back, I hope to take some pictures.

A trench had to be dug to get from house to garage. In the process, some of the sprinkler wiring had to be dug up and set aside. Buried in the dirt were two splices made with wire nuts and nothing else.
 
That splice falls into the "it's easy anyone can do it" category. Nice. I love a good picture.
