Can I run non-shielded home speaker wire through the same holes as I ran my NM electrical wire(Romex) through. Or will this effect the sound or sound quality?

It will be speaker wire coming from stereo to speakers.

Make sure your running a CL2 or CL3 speaker wire, not that lamp zip cord stuff.

speaker wire can be ran with power cable. Any audio wires prior to the amp should be kept away from power.

I have a general rule that we don't put LV wire in the same hole as HV (we wont start the "whats LV vs HV" thing here - ya-all know what I mean:roll: ) but that being said it will technically work...

As long as you understand this is not a code violation.
But for some systems not recommended.
