Window AC units

Can I use a window based AC unit to meet the air conditioning requirements of 220.84(A)(3)? For load calculations would you add this unit seperately or would you include it in the Table 220.12 calculation? There are 23 small dwelling units and each one is plugged into a general duplex receptacle. All other requirements of 220.84 are met.

Assuming the 23 units fall under the definition of multifamily dwelling, it seems to me that the AC units meet the requirements of 220.84 (A)(3). Since you are in Part IV of the Article -- Optional Load Calculations -- there is no reason to go to Table 220.12. Everything you need to calculate this load is in Section 220.84.
 
Thank you. I should have explained the second part of my question better:
For load calculations would you add this unit seperately or would you include it in the Table 220.12 calculation? was in reference only if I wanted to use Part III instead of the optional method.
