Does a window between the motor and the disconnect allow the use of one disconnect to satisfy 430.102 (A) Controller & (B) Motor? Less then 50'. More like 5-10'. Make it 25' if you follow path thru doorway. Unlocked.

I think that would be an AHJ call

In Sight From (Within Sight From, Within Sight). Where this Code specifies that one equipment shall be ?in sight from,? ?within sight from,? or ?within sight of,? and so forth, another equipment, the specified equipment is to be visible and not more than 15 m (50 ft) distant from the other.

I agree with BOB. I am sure some AHJ would state that the window may get closed in someday.
