I downloaded the updates for Rockwell Automation. Basically RSLogix Micro and RSLinx Classic.
I click on the icons but nothing ever shows up.

I had the runaround vs of 11 on an older laptop.
Prior to this I could at least get RSLogix to open even though RSLinx did not function. Glory Days, now neither does.

Any suggestions?

If you right click the executable and choose 'Properties', under the 'Compatibility' tab you can try setting the "Run this program in compat mode for..." and try a previous version of Windows. Win7 and WinXP SP3 are usually the best bets. If that doesn't work, you could install a desktop hypervisor (Oracle VirtualBox, VMWare Workstation) and create a virtual machine with one of those installed.

Oh, yes. Right up my alley.🙄

All I need are the two programs. Apparently I have a newer vs of RSlinx somewhere on the PC that is interfering.
