No the wire is supported in the Box my question was really more towards wire bending space like a U-Pull pull. I know there is certain distances you need to take it to affect but let's say for instance that you can't separate the pipes if you leave a loop in the box would that satisfy the codeNot a violation to leave a loop in the box. I hope you don't have to put your foot on the lid before you can get the screws in.
Right exactly but what if you can't for instance site conditions don't allow it beams columns etc. It makes sense to me that a loop would be easier on the wire bending I never really thought that much into it to look into the code book or maybe it's just something that the ahj would have to decideFor an angle or u pull you need six times the diameter of your conduits between the pipes.
Does the box have to be there? Can you just continue the conduit run? Put the box somewhere else? Because code doesnt take conditions into account. And I have experienced inspectors checking box size. Not something you want to have to do again, especially after you pull the wire. Messing with 500 kcmil, I would be staying well above water.Right exactly but what if you can't for instance site conditions don't allow it beams columns etc. It makes sense to me that a loop would be easier on the wire bending I never really thought that much into it to look into the code book or maybe it's just something that the ahj would have to decide

I did a pull today one set of 500 MCM 4" emt into and out of a 2x2 box . Is it a violation to leave a loop of wire in a box if u don't have enough distance to make a bend.
