Wire density problem?

6"x 12" x 4" deep box (approx). I counted 32 wire connections to the bottom only. I guess there were a total of about 50+ wire connections (counting the sides and top). I hope I was correct to "red-flag" this (former apartment building that was converted to condos) as trying to get 10 pounds of sugar (polite term) into a 5 pound bag.
