Wire Labeler

Just finished using the same machine, great print out, color labels are available. plenty of bells and whistles.

A cartage is about $35+. Don't know if that's good or not.

Ran 20 to 30 pairs which included some multi 2-8 circuits. Some mutli. box labeling let's say twice again, I believe that comes out max. case
(30x2)+(2x8)x 2=136.

We got through that about 2.5 runs doing that but more like 1.3 a run, because we usually had to re label one end.

136x1.3=175 labels
136 x 2.5=340 labels

Label looked like this:

20145
20145

This on a ~ inch tab in length, a perfect size for the wire. Available at any desired print out size to a inch high tab of label.
This is a press labeler, dispose of properly. Did not change or play with anything, turn itself off to, but it is cool!

I have a 3M that works pretty good, whatever you get, make sure you can get replacement cartridges easy, I was in one large city, and all of the supply houses carried only one brand, and of course not the one I had. I now carry more than one spare.

Problem with this kind of equipment that requires frequent specific supplies is even the supplier you bought it from sometimes switches to selling something else at times - then they no longer stock the supplies your unit uses.:(

Yeah, that was the problem in this town, every supplier said they did sell the 3M, but the Panduit salesman was real good, and they all changed to Panduit.
