I have a box of Ideal Twister 341's, the box does not list small stranded wire connections IE, 1 #14 and 3 #18.
What is a good wire nut for #12, #14 with #16, as would be typical in a luminaire
Being retired I don't want to buy a lot as it will sit and eventually go to a garage sale

We use Scotchlok Orange/Blue does #12-#22 AWG.

Yeah found it in a box when we moved from DC back here to Indy. We used the heck out of them out there.
Off topic, there is a similar connector made by another company, but less expensive. It will take me a while to remember who makes it. Its a brass fitting that goes in a 1/2" KO, there is a sleeve with a setscrew for the GEC, other end is a locknut

Tom I think Arlington has a set screw type. Kenny Clamp was the “hot one” out there as the inventor was my fellow electrical inspector.

I carry an assortment when doing most light work. I like little oranges for fixture wires to single conductors, yellows for almost everything else unless it's too big, like three or more #12s. I can fit three 12s or two 10s in a yellow if I have to, but don't like to.

Tom, there are a few companies out there that make them, Bridport is another one
