I'll wait for an engineer to do the calculation but you would likely use a 240-480 or 240-600 volt step-up transformer and then do the opposite on the sub-panel side.
 
Is your calculated load 200 amps or is that or service size?
You can do volt drop for various wire sizes and cost them out.
I suspect you will want to go to 480 volts, again you can price out cost of gear.

Agreed. The step-up primary needs no center tap, and there is a way to need no EGC by grounding one side of the secondary instead of a center tap.

The current load calc is much lower, but will need room for future expansion.

Conductor size and price for this length is the reason I’m asking. Seems like 1k volt tranny or at least 600 will enable to shrink the conductor size
 
I've posted this in the past. This to me is the most economical for this situation.

Yeah, that's it.

The neutral and electrode bond at the secondary of the step-down unit could be made in the panel instead, couldn't it?
