How do I calculate wire size for a 800 hp 2300 volt induction motor.
Full load amps will be 171
service factor will be 1.15

Check at the Okonite web site. 5 kv #1 cu 177 amps 1/0 cu 202 amps
2/0 AL 178 amps 3/0 AL 203 amps.
