Hi,
I have a PV System which has a 400A disconnect but the fuses are rated 350A. I am trying to do my first interconnection and need help with understanding where exactly do we interconnect for line side connections and what parameters shall be taken into account.
The utility service is going into a Siemens panel board with a 800A main breaker.
We have a AC Combiner for combining all inverters on the roof which is connected to a 400A disconnect located outside the building

1) What size wire should I use? Also do we use 90 degree or 75 degree rated wires for AC Connections. Do I have to apply the correction factors in this case?
2) What should be my point of interconnection? Should it be a tap or a splice? How can we physically do it?
When I looked into the service panel there is a spot open for wire to go in but I am not sure if we can feed our PV wires in that spot. Can I tap my wires here? I assume that it is connected to the bus bar.

I am trying to do a safe connection so just need to know all the details which should be taken into account for doing interconnections.

Thank You
