wire sizing

i am running a feeder from a service panel to a 100a subpanel. 3phase. what size wire do i need to run and what size pvc rigid conduit do I need?

Darren, you list yourself as an electrician, so in your code book a good start is article 310 and Annex C.

You can use smaller conductors and conduit in most cases. Will the terminations in the main and subpanel be rated @ 75 deg? Will the neutral be considered a current carrying conductor (non-linear loads)? Any other derating to consider like temperature, etc?

the terminations are rated 75deg yes There will be some nonlinear loads such as flourescent lights and heater fan motors.

You can use a number #3 or #2 depending on the type of load and voltage drop. Is the non-linear load over 50%?

I guess the harmonics does not have to be factored into the equation. I would say a #2 to be safe, but that's JMO!
