Hi!
I want to bury approximately 450-500 feet of wire and looking for recommendations on wire size. The plan is to run wire from a subpanel in the barn (120v), to a driveway entrance for pillar lights. The only load that would be on it is- two light fixtures with led light bulbs (one on each wood piller) and a receptacle outlet to power 60w -12v landscape lighting transformer. I'm thinking a 10/2 UF-B would be sufficient but would like some verification. Like everything- trying to keep costs down as much as possible. I even thought of solar as an option- but don't know much about it to accomplish the same results as hard wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
