Wire splice between walls.

I have some folks who are putting up a new wall 18" in front of the old one. There's an outlet on the old wall. They want it brought forward to the new wall. Once the new wall is up the old box won't be accessible.
I know that using wire nuts to extend the wiring to the new wall wouldn't pass code.
But if the new wires were soldered and sealed would that be legal?

Sorry Mr Handyman, we don't allow DIY posts. Your local electrician can fix this in a code compliant manner. Your solution would be an issue for the future when it fails.
