Wire type and size?

I have an old above ground home (2ft above ground). I need to run a new 50A circuit from panel to kitchen for a range outlet. The run is about 30 ft. What type of wire would I need if I come out the main panel (which is outside) and run under the house to the kitchen securing it to the floor joist along the way? Do I need conduit also Any? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
