Is there a code addressing a wireless fire alarm system. I mean wireless smokes, heats and pull stations all going back to a FACP. Also would like some opinions on this.

Yes GE and Ademco make commercial rated wireless fire. IMHO they should be used with care, and only when necessary. You still have to hardwire the NAC's (horns/strobes) anyway. They are UL listed and NFPA approved for commercial use. If, you are talking residential, there are ton of that out there.

I have installed the GE systems twice with success. The AHJ required full documentation prior to allowing it, because they never saw it before and it was a small building, low hazard.

The GE system is called Advent. Its a full featured very complex, laptop programmed panel (the keypad programming would drive you crazy)

I have not done the Ademco one but its a solid brand.

Also, you may be able to do a combination burg/fire panel such as Bosch or DSC depending on your situation.
