what does the fact that she has a lake house with alot of trees have to do with it?I have a lady that has a lake house with trees everywhere. Is a wireless light switch worth considering. And if so what kind should I look at. I haven't used one myself
can you explain in detail what it is you are doing so I can understand? It would be hard to go underground and cut through all of the roots of the trees and maybe kill them. Have ever treched next to a big tree?

how about low voltage. That way you don't have to bury it hardly at all. They want a light about a 100 foot up their driveway from the house.
ok. I'm thinking you may be right. I think I like the Troy Polamalu look better as well. But I know I didn't run him off as he just recently responded.steelersman, you must have run him off, what did you do? maybe he doesnt like mohawks....... I liked your other mug

How would this wireless power work anyway? Wouldn't you need to get a 120 volt source out to the light location anyway?
that's not really my hair. And that's not really me.Ok, I dont know who Troy Pola....is, I dont get out much... and by the way how do you grow that red hair in a place where I have nothing?
We have used remote switching for dock lites but you are limited to about 75ft and need a clear shot between the switch and the reciever.I have a panel that is feeding the house about 20 feet from where they want the light.
it's really not that hard to go under a concrete sidewalk if you dig down on both sides and drive a ground rod through it to pass you wire through. You said it is only 20 feet away. I would just dig a trench.I told her the best thing to do would be to have the POCO put up a light with a photo cell but she wants to turn it on and off. Two other things about this house there is a contrete sidewalk and its a log house.
