I was wondering if anyone has used these puppies and installed 2 (quad) duplex receptacles in 1 floorbox. I am being told they don't make quad cover plates for these. I'm betting they make them, they just haven't been found yet.

Thnx in advance

I see-- you want a quad in a single box--how would that be possible? It certainly couldn't be the standard recep. Even a despard device will only have 3 spaces and I bet there is no floor cover for it.

Ack! Not what I wanted to hear. I been looking and can't find nothing. Any suggestions on cutting in floor boxes in concrete. Oh, and and the concrete is finished floor.

The boxes are supposed to be gangable in this model. (One of many "880" series boxes) So you would need two boxes per point, and 2-gang rings (Floor Flange), and two duplex activations (Cover-plates). Oh, two recepticals. If this number is all you have, I would suggest an RFI for the rest of the info like flange and plate material and/or color.

I like the box that stickboy shows but I can't see how you can get your pipe to work with it.

If the box that is in there is gangable then I would take a 1/4" masonry bit and drill around the perimeter for the new box to be added to it. You should be able to do that without making a mess.

Good Luck
