What do you guys think of W30's (the little blocks into which you can stab up to 4 solid conductors)?

I don't like the back stab outlets and switches but I'm a little more trusting of the W30's.

Is this rational?

Thanks

Re: Wiremold W30's

I think its rational. I don't mind (although I never did it) backstabbing switches. My basis is that with switches you never affect the wire stabbed into the switch under normal operation like opening and closing it. I don't like it on receptacles because I believe that after years of plugging and unplugging appliances you may very well disconnect the conductor from the back of the receptacle. Is that rational? I never had a chance to use the W30's before I got out of the trade, they have only been popular here for about a year. I would have used them though.

Re: Wiremold W30's

I'm afraid I have a deep and abiding hatred of all things Wiremold, and have never used them, but I imagine they would be comparable to WAGO's or other push-type connectors.

IMO however the whole system is poorly contrived, and is a ground fault waiting to happen. It's no more attractive than EMT, and a whole lot less reliable.
