Wiremold

Have to wire up this area. I heard installing/cutting Wiremold(that's the brand they want us to use) is a PIA.
Anyone have experience with particular model/type that has been easy to work with? Thanks.

A portable bandsaw works good, deburring the cuts can be a pain but absolutely required.

It's basically similar to EMT installations.

Wiremold makes base and cover shears for all the different series. I would try to figure a way to buy those.

Yes, totally agree.

The Engineering Company I worked at for the last dozen years had a panel builder shop right next door. They had a DIN rail shear that I borrowed whenever I needed to make more than 1 cut.

The first time you pull down on the handle and it makes a perfect burr-free square cut, you think... "Oh, so this is what the right tool is like ! "

They also make benders for wiremold, though I've not had great luck using them without deforming it.
