This question came up and I really didn't know how to answer it.
We see a lot of installations with a panel with 2 or 3 nipples out of the to that go into a wireway. It's usually 2" conduit going into a 8x8 wireway. Branch circuits are run into the wireway and down to the panel. Is this legal?
Wouldn't the wireway be considered a pull box and have to be sized accordingly? Is there some exception I am missing or is it not considered a pull box?
