Wiring a light switch

This is for estimating purposes.

Is this how it would be done for a commercial application? I though you would bring your power to the switch. Is it more common to run you wire to the j-box where the power is? Thanks

Yes, otherwise the lights wont work.:D

Can you supply more information with your question? There are a number of ways to set up the switching in a commercial application.

Power would have to be supplied to the switch period, it has nothing to do with estimating.
