I have a profusion electric 240v heater and would like to wire in an external low voltage thermostat. I have the Aube RC840T-240 relay and not sure where to wire it in the circuit. Profusion manual only shows how to tie in a line voltage thermostat but not a low voltage thermostat.

So not sure if I need to bypass built in thermostat (unwire and cap off) or tie into existing thermostat but turn it up to high.

I’ve attached pics/wiring diagram of circuit.

If someone could draw / show me schematic of new wiring be easier to understand I believe then trying to write it would be of much help

Wire the low voltage stat to terminals R and W on the Aube unit

Does that Aube relay have the capacity for the heater you are using? Those are only good for 22 a , I think they make a bigger one.
