wiring bedrooms new romex cable

has anyone heard of or used a new cable for arc faults in bedrooms one of our guys brought a cut back from the supply house and sais it was the new thing for arc fault wirng. it was 14 gauge with a white a white with a tracer and a black and a red... ???

anyone used it lately

Our supplier refers to this as 14-2-2. I have not used it yet, but have seen literature on it. It would be great for two AFI circuits in one run while using a single-pole AFI.

While we only use 12ga. wire, I asked my supply house to order me in some 12-2-2 for a new house I have coming up next week. If they get it in and it works out well, I will leave a post.
