Does the NEC have any requirements for septic system effluent pump wiring??????????????????????????????????????

I don't believe there is anything directly related to that other than the wiring must be done according to the NEC. The county will usually require an alarm with the system.

Septic pumps are typically wired as class 1 locations. Our state code exempts residential from RMC, but still requires sealing pvc. A commercial system would require seals, ep pumps, etc Check with your AHJ.

We have a ton of single family pump systems that are not classified many of which are cord and plug and installation methods vary throughout the State. If it's a larger system and a classified location there are several helpful threads in the Forum that might be worth searching.
