This is a girls summer camp kitchen this will be upgraded to include two new good sized commercial hoods (don't have any hoods now), larger walk-in frig/freezers, new concrete floor, etc.

These pictures show the wiring in the ceiling. Most of the time they used EMT to protect the drops as shown in one of the photo's. Generally, the wiring is neat as you can see. Service is two 200A 120/240V MCB panelboards. The 75 KVA utility pad mount transformer is over 300 feet away!! (Will try to resolve that.) They also have the usual extension cords feeding fixed equipment that we will get cleaned up.

The camp is very nice and well maintained. This kitchen serves over 600 campers from start to finish in 25 minutes! The food is quite good. The sanitation score is 98, an "A".

Trying to keep the extent of the electrical work to a minimum. We will use GFCI's on all receptacles, interlock electrical loads under the hoods with the suppression system, etc.

Comments?

Thanks,

RC
