Wiring methods in air plenum

EMT is allowed in an air plenum but is there anything specific to this installation that should be of additional concern?

Would need more specific information to give a more specific answer. If you happen to be running any comm cable, it must be rated CMP and you must use plenum rated zip ties. Ditto for using plenum rated fire alarm cable.

Also note that there are differences between a plenum and an air return ceiling.

Nothing to know. Just run the emt to code and that's it. Nothing special needs to be done in a plenum.
