Wiring new addition.

I think I have a problem, Im not really sure, some good advice will be greatly appreciated. In this new addition there is an existing panel 200 amps, its behind a so called bar area. The home owner wants to place a sink 6' from the panel. I personlly dont see any thing wrong with it,am I missing something?The home owner said free drinks for all that help.

as long as you maintain the distances required in 110.26, the sink can be 1/16" beside the panel.

I agree,

rember to check 110.26 as augie47 said. The panel could not be over a counter top.

If the "addition" is "new," how can it have an "existing" panel? How far along is this project, and what was the panel doing there before the "addition" was added?

We are going to leave this existing panel and put 200 AMP feed thru panel on the outside we had to keep the residence with electricity this is what we came up with.

I agree with John But I am a beer man. John your Dad took over Monday I thank you for your help with that. I and the town are very glad to have him.

I won't be around for a while but will be back adding my 2 cents worth when I can. this is a great forum. Thanks to all of you and Mike Holt
