wiring schematic training

I am looking to learn how to fully understand wiring diagrams. On my job they have become larger each time a piece of equipment goes down and if i were to be able to interpet the wiring print would make things much easier.
My question is does anyone in northern n.j. know were there is a place to get this type of training?
