What do i need to use to wire a screened in porch? Single family (my house ), elevated off the ground... wood frame construction ... Shingled roof connected to house.... Is it a damp location?
Can i use Emt stubs up thru floor for recepts? Do i have to use uf and not use romex?
thank you

Where are you planning on mounting your recs? A screened porch would be considered a damp location under article 100, so uf or better would be required.

To me, some of this is simple and some is not... Is the space between the roof and the ceiling on a screened porch a damp location?

are boxes in the soffit a damp location?

if it is necessary to use UF and u want to do a couple 3 ways or switched recepts, the 14/3 UF is a problem due to its physical size.

Now then, a question: what would happen to NM exposed to the "dampness" under a porch roof.... I'd be inclined to think nothing... That it would last as long and be as safe as it is anywhere else and be a lot less of a pain in the butt to install.
