I am currently working in New Orleans rewiring residential structures that were flooded as a result of Hurricane Katrina. The flood water contained numerous corrosive materials as well as a high consentration of salt water. Many of my customers are having some difficulty with their insurance companies in regards to paying to repair electrical damage. Most of the structures I am dealing with have the branch circuits run under the wood floors. Most panel boxes have also been submerged. I need other professional opinions to present to my customers to help them in their battle with the insurance adjusters. What say you?
