Not exactly the best forum/topic for this question - so please point me the right way!

I am looking for some "standardized" information on THE best way to wire control-panel devices. Example: Ferrules, Forks, or Rings on a relay socket?

I see examples of every method (and some unimaginable) most days. While searching for The Golden Rules on the internet, I strangely am coming up with very few answers, and those just anecdotal (e.g., "don't tin the wires, they can work loose").

I know this is an NEC forum - I'm just looking for a good direction or resource, I can do the homework myself!

Thanks, all - appreciate the info.

Pin and sleeve under connectors at this Site. Web page based on Ferrules

Mcmaster.com for the tools to crimp and suppliment other aspects.

The last place I worked at where all about pin and sleeve, and I beleive that it was a hang-over from someone's airplane association. :) All the control LV was done with ferrules.

Hope this helps...
