No only is it a code violation, but from a performance standpoint it will introduce a lot of noise into the cable.
And if someone posts 300.3(C)(1), that does not apply regardless of what your insulation is.

I would think 800.52 and 830.58 would prevent the installation of CAT 5 and 120 power in the same raceway.

Cat 5 wiring is used for a multitude of installation types today, and I would add to Bob's list Art 725. My answer to your question is NO!!
