Wisconsin Wages

Enough to buy cheese.

Hard to say, really, but the rule of thumb is that the more rural you get, the more depressed the wages. Rightfully so, as the cost of living is normally less by the same percent.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics keeps track of all this interesting stuff. Check it out: http://www.bls.gov/bls/blswage.htm

They show the average hourly wage of an electrician in WI at 23 bucks. CT shows at 24.69. I think you're going to find about the same wages, from those numbers. As far as your likelihood of finding a job once you get there; that's a horse of another color. You can check that out on the BLS site also: http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/surveymost?la+55
