Had a proposal in for a high end custom build. As of last week it was a 90% done deal with only a few excavation items to iron out.

Got a message this morning from the GC that the client has notified him that the project is on hold pending economic activity with the markets.

We have a small project for one of our major customers through an EC who is also a customer of ours. A couple of weeks ago, they put the job on indefinite hold.

I would expect more of the same especially in the short term. With Wall Street having a terrible run at the moment we should be cognizant to the nervousness the world is having over the fate of the economy.

A lot of big non-profit organizations do their expansions using their trusts only and never touch the principle investment. When the market drops drastically, I've seen them shut down indefinitely if money becomes an issue.
