work in north carolina

I may be moving from the connecticut down to north carolina later this year. i was wondering if anyone knows how the construction work is going? and what to expect for wages. Im a 35 years old with 17 years experiance in the residential and commercial end of electrical. and possibly if anyone knows of a nice area to move the family.

There's a lot going on in the Jacksonville / Camp Lejeune area and a lot more coming in the next few years.

The cost of living is median to upper median at best.

Wages, don't look for more than $12-$15/hr and benefits are hit and miss.
