J JES2727 Senior Member Location NJ Mar 13, 2009 #2 If "XYZ Electric" is incorporated then the owner is required to have coverage on himself. If the company is an LLC or sole proprietership then the coverage is optional. This is the way it is here in NJ. It may be different where you are.
